Ayesa is working with the Government of Chile on various projects for the Ministry of the Secretary-General for the Presidency, the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of National Assets, as well as other Regional Governments, such as the Regional Government of Valparaíso.
For the Ministry of the Secretary-General for the Presidency, an E-Administration Platform is being implemented and consulting services are being provided for the implementation of the Repository for the Administrator of State Schemes and Metadata, as well as for the improvement and evolving maintenance of the Human Resources Management System.
For the E-administration Platform, a customized virtual office will be launched, which will be integrated into corporate gateways and an application gateway for the integral e-handling of procedures and records. This platform will initially be used for internal procedures. It will then subsequently grant the public and companies access to e-Administration services.
The Repository for the Administrator of State Schemes and Metadata, is a strategic component in the process of interoperability between state bodies, which will enable an improvement in the classification, storage and search for official documents.
In terms of the Presidency of the Republic, the technical migration and implementation of the Human Resources Management System for this institution has been carried out.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) is receiving consulting services on Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs).
This model for the Ministry of Public Works’ Geographical Information System will optimise the access to and management of data, as well as being a clearer and simpler system which, amongst other things, improves the interoperability between systems and facilitates the use of map data
Regarding the Ministry of National Assets, a Migration of the platform on the Geo-Portal of Chile is being carried out and new functionalities are being developed.
At the same time, the national metadata profile is being implemented in the national catalogue, with the aim of including this Metadata profile into the Geo-Portal for maps.
Lastly, for this Ministry, a report and documentation service for new content on the National Catalogue of Geo-Spatial Information is being developed. Through this, new reports may be generated on the metadata record present in the National Catalogue and in documentation with 90 geo-spatial data.
In terms of the Regional Government of Valparaíso, the migration of the Geo-Portal platform is also being carried out. This is a new platform which will facilitate improvement and provide performance and stability, giving it greater usability and facilitating the search for geo-spatial information of various public services.
In 2011, one of the great technological milestones of Ayesa was gaining type-approval through the Framework Convention for the development of software and maintenance of Chilean Public Administration.
